Data Choices
Use this page to understand which choices are optional and how export and deletion work. Effective 2026-07-19.
Required terms versus optional consent
Acceptance of the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Safety & Risk Acknowledgment (where required) is necessary to use Taawn. Optional processing — such as non-essential crash diagnostics on the website or Android app — stays off unless you enable it.
Crash diagnostics, analytics, and push
Optional crash diagnostics and any non-essential analytics are separate from core account operation and require your opt-in where offered. Push notifications need push tokens and platform messaging providers to deliver messages you enable; they are distinct from optional marketing-style processing.
Export and deletion
Delete your account in Settings (self-service) or via /delete-account. Deletion disables the account immediately and erases live user-attributable data; backups expire on the normal rotation cycle (~30 days). Request a data export via Settings or [email protected]. Export covers core account-owned data.
No sale of personal data
Taawn does not sell your personal data. If you believe your rights have not been handled correctly, contact [email protected] or complain to your competent supervisory authority (in Germany: TLfDI).
