TaawnEngine

TaawnEngine is Taawn's proprietary computer vision system. It turns ordinary GoPro footage into frame-accurate trail comparison — the heavy lifting runs on GPU servers after your phone preps the upload.

Video-first, not GPS

Phone apps track rough GPS in the forest. TaawnEngine analyzes what the camera actually saw — your line, timing, and technique — so runs on the same trail stay comparable across seasons and repeats.

From pixels to trail models

TaawnEngine rebuilds trail geometry from reference videos and places every new run in that shared 3D space. The result: section times, jump metrics, and Ghost Rider overlays anchored to the segment you rode.

Built for real trails

Designed for fast, messy mountain bike footage: motion, mud, changing light, and handheld action cameras. Quality depends on recording conditions — we're in alpha and improving every release.

What powers the app

TaawnEngine section match — fast leaderboard times from video alignment. TaawnEngine segment reconstruction — optional 3D trail models for premium segments. TaawnEngine run alignment — AR ghost comparisons and trail-feature analytics. All orchestrated in the cloud on high-performance GPUs.

Alpha — only for invited test users and friends. Pre-release prototype; use at your own risk. No warranties provided.
