These terms govern your use of Taawn across the website and mobile apps.
Alpha status and acceptance
Taawn is an alpha product for invited testers and friends. Features, processing results, route information, and safety-related prompts may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or unavailable. By creating an account or using Taawn, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Training assistance only
Taawn is an informational training-assistance product. It is not navigation equipment, emergency or safety equipment, a trail-legality checker, legal advice, or a guarantee of lawful or safe riding. Any overlays, rankings, timing comparisons, AI suggestions, or trail-condition information are provided for general information only.
Your responsibility for lawful riding
You remain solely responsible for where, when, and how you ride, record, and upload content. You must follow local law, trail rules, signage, land-access restrictions, private-property limits, filming rules, and traffic or safety requirements. Taawn does not verify that any trail, route, segment, recording location, or suggested line is legal, open, suitable, or safe.
User content and reporting
You keep ownership of your content, but you grant us the rights needed to host, process, analyze, display, and moderate it in order to operate the service. You must have the rights needed for what you upload and must not upload unlawful, infringing, or abusive content. We may review reports and remove or restrict content when needed.
Accounts, paid features, and updates
You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. Paid plans, if offered, are subject to the pricing and store or payment-provider terms presented at purchase. We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service, including experimental features, when reasonably necessary.
No warranties and limited liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Taawn is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties that the service is uninterrupted, accurate, fit for a particular purpose, or legally sufficient for your intended use. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, but otherwise we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, nor for crashes, injuries, trespass, fines, confiscation, or other losses caused by how you ride, record, interpret, or rely on the service.
Termination, changes, and contact
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, create risk, or misuse the product. We may update these Terms from time to time and will publish the updated version date when we do.
