3D features
3D features are optional and require a calibrated camera plus an eligible subscription tier.
Segment reconstruction
Builds a 3D model of the trail section from your segment reference video:
- Point cloud and per-frame camera poses
- Used for 3D overlays in the app
- Triggered manually from segment detail (not automatic on upload)
Requires: Premium or Pro tier, camera with calibration JSON assigned to segment.
Not available on Free tier.
Run 3D alignment
Places your run trajectory in the segment’s 3D space:

Enable Perform 3D alignment when uploading a run if your segment is reconstructed and your camera is calibrated.
GPU processing
Premium users get faster L40S GPUs for matching and reconstruction; Free and Pro use L4 for most jobs (see Usage tiers).
Alpha/beta
3D quality depends on recording conditions, calibration, and consistent GoPro settings. Results are not guaranteed.
